Friday Favorites

Posted by om 0 comments

I can't believe it's Friday again. Lately the weeks are just flying by! But it's been a Good week...maybe even a Very Good week. It feels so Good that we are almost totally caught up on open orders, Good that we finished up some of our projects, Good that we are almost ready for our trip to Atlanta...almost. Ah jeeez...we are so so excited about it. We've never been to Georgia and it's a place that we have always wanted to visit!

Sometimes I gotta pinch myself...it's so cool that through our fun work we'll be getting to see some of our fave people...old friends and new ones. We'll be creating and crafting with like-minded peeps in a beautiful setting. And oh boy, I've been looking at the sneak peeks on Rosalyn Sue's Instagram...it is going to be so amazing! And then, as if Sweethearts on the Homefront weren't enough, we'll also be hitting up the Country Living Fair! Ahh what a fun fun time! Are any of you attending the CL Fair? We'll be sure to take lots of pics to share with you guys! The weather here on the NJ Shore is totally nuts. It was nearly 90 degrees today. I actually had to pull out my summer shoes for our trip to the grocery store. I'm all for sunny days...but in this case things maybe got a little outta hand. No one wants to work up a sweat while pumpkin picking, or while getting lost in a corn maze...amiright?
We haven't been keeping an eye on the Georgia weather, but at this rate, in a complete role reversal, we just might be traveling south in hopes of finding cooler weather! ha! I want to be decked out in Fall attire when I stroll the aisles of the Country Living Fair.

And since we are talking about, and dreaming about Fall...let's kick Friday Favorites off with this recipe for  Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes! Yep! I kid you not. You read that correctly. They look amazing.  I remember there was a time when I was a cupcake purest, and I wasn't attracted to the idea of cupcakes with filled centers. Well, that was until I visited a bakery who mastered the art of the filled center. Now I'm always on the hunt for anyone who can get it as right as they did. Well these sound like they might fit the bill.

I've shared favorite fashion finds from Hello Holiday before...and I'm sure I will in the future...and that's because they always always have something fabulous.
I love this dress. With my pink hair I often find that neutral tones are my best bet for a dress. And what this dress lacks in color, it makes up for with a fab pattern and lovely silhouette. Paired with black tights, a black cardigan or jacket...Perfect.

And yeah...speaking of...how about these black tights with gold dots?? Love.

These side tables made my eyes light up. I love the retro, modern vibe. Love the colors. And I think it would be hard for me to choose just one. I guess If I had 30 seconds to make my selection, I'd say the aqua...but jeez they are all great! I think they'd be lovely with vintage feather trees displayed on them for the holidays.

I love this... and I'm guessing you do too... and for all the same reasons... that's why we're friends. : )

I'm a long time fan of the work of Shanna Murray. I was so sad that I missed out on her tea towels. I am loving her current collection for West elm, including this cute pie dish. Adore it.

Ok, wow it's gotten late. Another Friday flew right by! I hope yours was fab and me and Aaron wish for you to have the greatest weekend ever!

Happiness in Pink!

Posted by om 0 comments

Pink is happiness!

That goes without saying with me.
I'm like one of those little girl's who never grew out of pink!

I have spent a lot of years controlling my passion for pink
but I have finally decided to let go a little and celebrate the colour
in all the things I love.

Strawberry ice-cream and summer clothes,
lipsticks and nail polish
perfumes and flowers
and decorating my favourite spaces
like my hobby room and walk-in-robe.
