Bee Bo Bop Bo Beep

Hi guys! I just had to pop in and share this One of a Kind piece we did for this month's Spookytime Jingles update! We knew that we wanted to go a bit beyond the typical orange and black, witches, and ghosts, and we both agreed that we should paint a robot!

The absolute classic kids costume...tried and true...never fails to elicit smiles across the board. A robot straight out of "The Future"... engineered using cutting edge technology! That is...if you consider cardboard boxes coated with silver spray paint "cutting edge"... haha! This painting also holds a special place in our hearts...we once dressed as cardboard box robots for our best friend's Halloween wedding. (needless to say...we won first prize! haha!)

Well, we just had to pay tribute to one of our fave Halloween costumes of all time. This is totally hand painted and we added some dimension to the piece by first painting the little robot on watercolor paper, then we cut it out and adhered it to the board which we hand painted with festive polka dots and candy corns.

This is a One of a Kind original 100% hand painted mixed media creation. This 8 x 10 wooden plaque comes signed, dated, and ready to hang.
$105.00 includes FREE shipping in the USA!

If you'd like to add this special piece to your Halloween decor just shoot us an email.

And be sure to visit SpookyTime Jingles to see lots more OOAK art by some amazing artists!

Happy Weekend friends!

Tropical Chic

Posted by om 0 comments

With only days to go before I head off on my tropical vacation ~
I am running around doing a bit of last minute shopping :-
sunscreen, 'mozzie repellent' fake tan (in desperate need of after a long winter)
travel sickness tablets for hubby, a new bikini for me, etc etc.
I love all the last minute preparations and racing around
- it makes me finally like I'm finally going!

I am hoping I will look as sleek and stylish as this model
but I know sun, sea, surf, sand, chic and me don't go hand in hand...
but all the same I think I will use this as inspiration for my packing list!

Friday Favorites

Posted by om 0 comments

Aside from the above dress, this week's Friday Favorites all fit perfectly into a seasonal theme...and I swear, it was by sheer coincidence! But that's not too hard to believe...as soon as a tiny bit of Fall weather hits it seems like my focus is on all things Fall. I'm looking at squirrels and costumes and pie recipes all day long. I hope these Faves put you in the spirit of the season at hand.

This could be the party dress of my dreams! I adore it! With a black sequin shrug it could be pretty fabulous. I've been a big Dolce & Gabbana  fan forever and they do leopard print like nobody's business. Though, by nature I'm a whole lot more conservative...I'm always adding a cardigan to their va va voom.

I wanted to kick off the Autumn theme with this adorable acorn necklace. I love pairing muted color with gold. It just has such a soft feel to it.

When I see things like this I always think "does the squirrel know that he's sitting in a chair?" It's almost like he's watching the ball game and he brought his corn cob along for a snack. This is just so cute.

Apple Cider Cream Pie...all that I needed to hear was the name and I was sold! I will certainly be whipping this up very soon. (pun intended)

I'm beginning to think that even the leopard D & G dress is a perfect fit for my Fall themed Favorites. Pair it with one of these fabulous fox masks and you'll be the belle of the costume ball.

I Love this guy! He had a vision for his costume and he saw it through right down to the tiniest brush strokes! Though I'm not too sure that Van Gogh was ever this smiley.

And last but not least...The premiere of The Walking Dead! Just about 48 hours away! I'm all pins n' needles about it! I can't wait...the return of Merle!! I might invite the squirrel and his corn cob over for the premiere party!

Ok, back to work. Happy Friday and Happy Fall to all of you! Thanks for stopping by.
xo, Jenny
