This insanely large but ultra sleek house belongs to director Michael Bay.  For a director of big budget movies like Transformers, Armageddon and Pearl Harbor, nothing on film or in life is 'too big'. This 17,000-square-foot Miami Beach house perched on the water was dramatic but stark, which required a grand vision (and a very large budget) to transform it into a home with soul. Michael and his architect wanted to capitalize on the natural environment by incorporating the sky, water, and trees into the new design. To reflect this, interior designer, Lynda Murray, aimed for serenity and comfort, mixing Asian antiques, statement sculptures and artwork with contemporary furnishings covered in neutral linens and soft leathers. The result is an oasis of calm, quiet and timeless style. I certainly wouldn't mind be on the guest list at his next pool party!
