Natural materials are the key element to this style.
Bamboo, rattan, wood, leather, cotton and linen all look at home in spaces that take white or off white as their colour cue. Seek inspiration by looking at seaside homes in the Hamptons or Scandinavia. Paint out everything white and look for simple furniture in white washed woods; fabrics in white, beige and grey and natural accessories with a coastal feel.
