Meet Penny

Hey Guys!
How's your weekend going? Do anything fun today? Luckily it wasn't mega hot here on the NJ Shore, so we had the windows open and painted most of the day. This sweet gal has been patiently waiting for her finishing touches and we couldn't be happier with how she turned out. Her name is Penny, a born collector. A doll herself, she covets anything & everything in the world of dolls...right down to that adorable dollhouse brooch on her sweater. Her fave Charlotte doll is always by her side...she never leaves home without her. A classic girl through and through.

This print of our original painting measures 8 x 10 and is matted to fit an 11 x 14 frame. Signed & dated, and now in the shop.

We look forward to a day full of art journaling tomorrow and plan to share lots of photos over the next few days! : )

Enjoy the the rest of your weekend!

A Swedish Weekender

Posted by om 0 comments

With a new Swedish client on board I am feeling very inspired by this Swedish weekender. This client is the other half of my girlfriend who is a born and bred Aussie. They have enlisted my help to update their holiday house. I am hoping that my girlfriend will come to the party so we can give it a Scandinavian feel. It is one of my favourite design looks and one that can be easily adapted to the Australian lifestyle and climate. I love the grey washed cane, the use of natural linens and cottons as well as all the painted, chalked and lime washed timbers. Can't wait to get started on this one!
