Beach House Accessories

I am having a lot of fun decorating my new beach house.

 For me, it's the icing on the cake.

I have incorporated a lot of open shelving into the design because I like things on display.

I have had 10 years retail experience and 

I was head of visual merchandising for Calvin Klein in Australia

so I guess it's kinda my thing.

Even my pantry and laundry look like a shop display!

I have used a mixture of elements :~

stuff I've bought, things I already had and

bits and pieces I've collected from the beach and on my travels.

It's an interesting mix of shells, coral,

coastal books, hurricane lanterns, ceramics and baskets.

Once everythng is completed I'll be posting some photos

but in the interim, here are few ideas that served as clever inspiration.
