This very stylish white weatherboard cottage is my next dream house. It's located in Palm Beach, just outside Sydney so it's in a different state from me but it's the perfect inspiration for my next beach house. We are planning a move in the next few years closer to the beach so we can hear the waves crashing at night and we can walk to the beach by day. We are doing our homework, getting a feel for the market and collecting ideas and magazine clippings. This house sums up our wish list perfectly :- white weatherboards, simple design, lots of lawn, a palette of earthy, natural textures, lots of natural light and modern furniture with a rustic, eclectic twist.
