La Dolce Vita

 

I love the rustic charm of Italian villages with their gelati coloured villas softened with the patina of age. Every cobble stoned alleyway brings with it a new discovery - either a quaint little restaurant, a street market or a quirky little shop. The air is heavily scented with flowers, cooking smells from the kitchen and the smell of freshly baked bread and pizzas from the local 'Fornaio' and 'Pizzeria'. Italy is an overload on the senses - everything is magnified ~ colour, beautiful scenery, lots of activity and so much to look at. That's why you have to keep going back because you can never take it all in one visit!
