Friday Favorites

This! Do I even have to say anything here?! I doubt it. The heart! The light! How the bits of pastel just pop like sprinkles around the room! I imagine Edith Piaf set to beats...echoing throughout. Speaking of: 

I could just make loud squealy noises all day about this outfit! Again, my brain sees it as a walking art journal! ha! I love love love it! Though I think "the page" needs a few more adornments...a scarf, maybe a cute bunny pin, and a fab bag. But ohh my gosh! I could die! It's by the Finnish company Marimekko! Drool!

Again, you may already know that I am crazy for couches! If I could I'd have 10 in my home I would! The mid century styling of this teal dream over at Joss & Main has my heart fluttering! Oh geez! I sooo could work with this! Speaking of Joss & Main, have you guys shopped their sales yet? Pretty amazing deals! Not like I have 800.00 bucks to throw around for an extra couch...but this is normally 2400.00! They've got Mega discounts! I am alllways able to find things to add to my wish list over there! 

I'm Incredibly inspired by the work of British abstract painter John Hoyland. This series in particular. Oh it hits my heart in all the right places! 

And again, you may already know (that's the theme for this Friday I guess.) that I'm a big fan of color blocked furniture. This happy little retro inspired piece is so bright and clean with it's blonde wood palest mint green panel. I could go a hundred ways with this.

Guys!! Nooo, Guys!! This is outta control looking! Yes, I know we've been trying to eat mega healthy, but sometimes you think 'life is short...you gotta party sometimes right?!' Holy Crow! Devil's Food Cake with Peanut Butter Filling! YES!

It's a fabulous Friday here in Jersey. I thought they were predicting rain but it's sunny and calm outside. And inside, it's probably about to get less calm...we're ready for our early afternoon artful frenzy...that then transitions into exercise and then we start cooking...it then settles down a bit when it gets dark. I'm hoping for a warm weekend. The cold nights seem to be dragging on way too long. Hope your Friday is going great!
